The TEE Lab is excited to welcome two of our newest members - Poorvi and Mae! They will be working closely with Asst Prof Lam Weng Ngai and us under the Cities of Tomorrow (CoT) project on litterfall nutrient cycling between forests and urban green spaces in Singapore.

Nagichetty Ashok Poorvi

Poorvi is a research assistant under the CoT project. She will be looking into the identification of microbe communities and invertebrates using molecular techniques such as metabarcoding and sequencing. Before joining us, Poorvi did a Final Year Project in ASE NTU, where she quantified the differences in soil enzymes and nutrients between primary and secondary forests in Singapore.

Lee Yn Mae

Mae is a research assistant under the CoT project. She recently graduated from Macquarie University with a major in Environmental Biology, and is fond of invertebrates and their ecological importance.

Warmest welcome to the TEE Lab, Poorvi and Mae!
