The TEE Lab is excited to welcome our newest member, Dr Friederike Gerbert, to our lab!
Friederike has recently joined the TEE Lab as post-doc researcher, where she'll be focusing on dung beetle distributions, functional traits, ecosystem service provisioning and their interplay with mammal communities. Some of her upcoming exciting work involves understanding the distribution of dung beetle communities along altitudinal gradients in Borneo!
Prior to joining us, Friederike studied the dung beetles and mammals on Mt Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, at the University of Wuerzburg, Germany, and was a post-doc at the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research WSL where she analysed data on temporal trends of aquatic and terrestrial insects in Switzerland.
