We were very delighted to have Prof Enoka P. Kudavidanage at the TEE Lab during her visit to NTU and were greatly inspired through her sharing of the research and stakeholder engagement efforts towards biodiversity conservation issues in Sri Lanka.

Like us, Enoka has a soft spot for dung beetles and we showed her our reference collection of lowland Sabah and Singapore dung beetles, as well as our ongoing GBIF project on “Mobilising data on ecologically important insects in Malaysia and Singapore”. We also discussed collaborating and exchanging knowledge on dung beetles in Sri Lanka!
