On World Environment Day, we are excited to feature the TEE Lab's recent study, "Crop and landscape heterogeneity increase biodiversity in agricultural landscapes: A global review and meta-analysis". This study was led by PhD candidate Tharaka S Priyadarshana and Assoc Prof Eleanor Slade, and showed that agricultural landscapes with greater variety supports a higher diversity of wildlife on farms. The study also suggests that having higher wildlife diversity, such as important pollinator, predator, decomposer groups, could help improve crop yields and thus benefit farmers.
