As our AcRF Tier 1 MOE grant, "Riparian Protection Versus Pest and Disease Control in Oil Palm Plantations," comes to a close, we are pleased to share the first of two videos. This video showcases the efforts and findings of our researchers as they address the question: "Are Riparian Reserves a Source of Rhinoceros Beetle Pests?"
The insights gleaned from this research will empower researchers to engage with oil palm managers regarding the potential trade-offs between forest conservation and pest/disease management.
