Congratulations Dr Chiew Li Yuen!!

After a grueling 4.5 hour viva, Li Yuen has passed her PhD viva with flying colours and only minor corrections! Her PhD, based at Universiti of Malaysia Sabah and co-supervised in the TEE lab, investigated the interaction networks between dung beetles and mammals across a land-use gradient in Sabah. She also studied how invertebrate-mediated ecosystem processes were affected by forest disturbance and conversion to oil palm and silviculture plantations. Li Yuen will join us soon as a postdoc on a new project studying the effects of riparian buffers on pests in oil palm.
