Sonia Lee
RESEARCH ASSISTANT
Hi! I'm Sonia, a research assistant at the TEE lab, currently working in projects focused on understanding urban biodiversity and dung beetle taxonomy in Singapore.
I previously did an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science at the University of Birmingham and a master's in Biodiversity and Global Change at the University College London (UCL). During these degrees, I conducted entomological research, particularly in integrative taxonomy of Cecidomyiidae in the UK, as well as assessing suitability of parasitoid wasps as biological control agents in New Zealand.
In my free time, I like singing, playing video games and bouldering. My favourite teas include cold brew Taiwanese Mi Xiang Oolongs and almost any pu-erh!
