PRE-U INTERN

I am a high school intern working under Mr. Calvin Leung on his PhD project on saproxylic insects, as well as several related sub-studies that have emerged from his research.

I have been fascinated by insects for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is flipping over a log in kindergarten and being amazed by the arthropods I found underneath. While ants remain a personal favourite, this internship has broadened my horizons to many other groups of insects that I now also enjoy studying.

Outside of insects, I enjoy Taekwondo to keep me active. I also enjoy expressing my ideas through 3D modeling and design.
