Tharaka S. Priyadarshana
GRADUATE STUDENT
Tharaka S. Priyadarshana is a Research Fellow at the Asian School of the Environment, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His research integrates agroecology, urban ecology, and conservation biology, focusing on practical solutions to enhance biodiversity and ecosystem services in agricultural and urban landscapes.
Tharaka holds a PhD from Nanyang Technological University, a Master’s from Guangxi University, and a Bachelor’s from Sabaragamuwa University. He is also passionate about the taxonomy and conservation of wild orchids and odonates. Through his work, he aims to contribute to the integration of biodiversity conservation into land-use planning and management, promoting ecosystem resilience and sustainability.
